Our Beginning
Northern Lighthouse began in 2017 as a mission from Smyrna Bible Baptist Church of Milan. For the first years we met in the home of a brother, worshipping and growing together as a small congregation. Those humble beginnings shaped our commitment to faithful Bible teaching and close fellowship.

After our first years we spent a season meeting in different locations around the city. For about a year we moved between Bromma and Norsborg, then we worshipped and ministered in Solna for two years. In time God led us to Skogås, where the church continues today. These moves reflect the resilience of the congregation and our desire to be where people need the Gospel.

Becoming a Local Church
On 12 October 2025 we were organised as an independent local church under the name Northern Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church. The name reflects our calling: our members recognised a need for an uncompromised, Bible-believing congregation — a place of refuge and faithful teaching. At the same time we desire to be a beacon for the lost, holding forth the light of the Gospel in our community.

About the Pastor
Gian Carlo Bandril was ordained on 11 October 2025. He has served as a missionary preacher since 2019 and currently serves as a tentmaking pastor while completing Bible School studies toward a Bachelor's degree in Theology. Gian Carlo seeks to preach faithfully from Scripture and to shepherd the congregation with a heart for missions and biblical conviction.
Gian Carlo is married to Angelica Bandril (married 2020). The Lord has blessed them with a son, Tobias, born in 2022.
